# Equity snapshots

> Fetch current NGX price, trading, and valuation metrics for one, several, or all supported tickers.

Use `GET /v1/market-data/equities` when you need a compact dashboard or screening payload without joining several company endpoints.

## Request snapshots

Omit `tickers` to return every supported NGX equity:

Repeat `tickers` to return a subset:

Ticker matching is case-insensitive. Rangler removes surrounding spaces and duplicate symbols. An unknown symbol does not add a placeholder row.

## Read the response

The endpoint returns a non-paginated collection ordered by ticker:

Price fields use `currency`. `market_cap` and `eps_ttm` each have a separate currency field because their units may differ from the trading currency.

Both `percentage_change` and `dividend_yield_ttm_pct` use percentage points. For example, `3.9` means 3.9%.

## Handle unavailable metrics

Rangler returns `null` when a metric is unavailable or cannot be resolved safely. Do not convert `null` to zero. A zero value is a reported or calculated numeric result, while `null` means Rangler cannot provide that metric for the snapshot.

Use `as_of_date` for price freshness and `fundamentals_as_of_date` for EPS and P/E freshness. These dates can differ because market prices and company financials update on different schedules.

For historical prices and candlesticks, use [Price charts](/price-charts). For individual dividend declarations, payment dates, and converted amounts, use `GET /v1/companies/{company_id}/dividends`.
